Scientific scope
Both the basic and applied aspects of radiation chemistry belong to the scope of the Conference:- Fundamental processes in radiation chemistry;
- Electron beam-, ion beam-, photon-, laser-, plasma reactions;
- Chemistry of exotic atoms (e. g. positronium, negative ions, positron annihilation);
- Radiolysis of inorganic and organic systems;
- Radiation chemistry of biological sytems, biopolymers, damage and repair, radicals in biological systems;
- Radiation chemistry of nanoscale systems;
- Macromolecular systems (polymerization kinetics, crosslinking, grafting, radiation stability, EB and UV curing of surface coating, etc.);
- Biomedical materials (biocompatible surfaces, hydrogels, drug delivery devices, etc.);
- Environmental protection (e. g. wastewater-, sludge-, flue gas treatment, recycling of wastes);
- Food irradiation, identification of irradiated food, packaging materials;
- Radiation sterilization (current issues, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
