Main activities and responsibilities
- Performing research in the following areas:
- Photo-excitation of isomers of stable nuclei
- Accelerator and laser driven power plants, and its radiation protection aspects
- Transmutation of long-lived nuclear wastes by spallation reactions
- Active interrogation system using switchable radioactive neutron source
- Stimulated gamma emission by direct transition of long-lived isomers
